BigCommerce engineers have mitigated the issue. Store assets served via the CDN are now available again.

Investigating
Currently, our CDN is experiencing issues for a subset of stores. BigCommerce engineers are investigating slowness or unavailability of store assets served via the CDN. We will update with our findings shortly.
