At 14:33 UTC a subset of stores started experiencing the issue with creating and updating metafields using the V3 API. BigCommerce engineers became aware of the issue at 15:53 UTC. The issue was triaged and the root cause identified, and a rollback of a recent deployment began at 16:02 UTC to address the issue.
This incident was fully resolved for all customers at 16:09 UTC.
