A fix was deployed but only temporarily restored response times to normal. A more permanent fix is now being deployed. We will update again in 30 minutes if the issue is not resolved beforehand.

BigCommerce engineers have detected slower than normal response times for a small sub-set of stores. A fix is being deployed.
