Two nodes in our API gateway began generating intermittent 500 errors. They gradually increased in frequency until the level triggered alert notifications. Time to fix after notification was two minutes. These nodes will remain offline until we have a diagnosis and fix for the underlying issue. Currently, all other nodes are operating as expected. We will be adding more granular alerting to cover this type of situation.
